---Charles was born March 17, 1939 in Shelby County, MO, the son of Estell Stone and Lena Faye (Bowman) Baker. He was united in marriage to Guyanne Drew on December 27, 1966 in Greenville, MS. She preceded him in death on January 8, 2010.
---Charles is survived by his sons, Wes Baker (Angie) of Anniston, AL, Sam Baker of Lookout Mt, TN, and Charlie Baker (Tiffany) of Birmingham, AL; his daughters, Mayme Baker (Rob) and Gracie Baker (Matt) of Greenville, SC; and several grandchildren; his siblings, Bonnie Kimbel (Larry) of Mexico, MO, Keith Baker (Maiah) of Shelbina, MO, Phil Baker of Shelbina, MO, and Karin White (Danny) of Hannibal, MO.
---He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Guyanne.
Charles preached at Center Point Independence Church for over 50 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Confederate Veterans, and he was a Mason. Charles enjoyed restoring books and history.
---A Memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Kendall Mt. Olive Church in Kendall, Missouri. Memorials may be made to Kendall Mt. Olive Church.
