aroline Louise (Washburn) Rauls of St. Louis, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020. Caroline was born in St. Louis, on April 26, 1942, the daughter of Truman and Lora (Purl) Washburn. On February 2, 1962 she married Paul H. Rauls, they had five children and later divorced. She adored her family and was mother of Bonnie (Vicki), Lori, Cheryle, Michael (Liz) & Sondra. Grandmother of Mathew, Andrew, Jessica (Howie), Sarah & Olivia. Great grandmother, loving aunt, sister and friend to many.

A passionate gardener, she loved to paint and was a dedicated Cardinal Baseball Fan!
She loved family gatherings and hosting “open houses.” Anyone that enjoyed her chicken & dumplings or potato salad, knows what a great cook she was. She was proud of each of her children’s accomplishments and was their biggest fan in the stands or audience.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Ruth, Cleo, Clyde, Cappie, Lawrence, Richard, Robert & Lois; and by her beloved daughter, Cheryle and grandson, Andrew.

Carol will rest with her parents at Valhalla Cemetery. A private family burial is planned with a Celebration of Life in the coming months.
