For Mrs. Rachel C. Aikey
Private funeral services were held Saturday morning from the Strunk Funeral Home at Mifflinburg for Rachel C. Aikey, a native of East Buffalo Township, who died Wednesday, November 28, 1945 at Mrs. Baker's Nursing Home at New Columbia, the result of a complication of ailments. She had been in ill health for the past 11 months.
Daughter of Harry and Sarah Aikey, she was born October 1, 1888.
She was survived by a daughter, Mrs. Philip Martin, of Milton, and the following brothers and sisters: James, John and Hugh Aikey, Mrs. John Simonton, and Mrs. John Englehart, all of West Buffalo Township; Benjamin Aikey, of Lewisburg; Mrs. Francis Moll, of near Hartleton; William and Aaron Aikey, of Mifflinburg, and Mrs. James Shriner of Cowan.
Reverend E. L. Bottiger, of West Milton, officiated at the services.
Burial was in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
