Margaret Berry departed this world on Monday, December 28, 2020, as she lived it, fearless of death and at peace, surrounded by loving family through whom her legacy will survive. Heaven, it would appear, needed her more, and we can't blame God for taking such a remarkable person sooner than we wanted to let her go. She will be missed by all that knew her for her love of life, compassion, benevolence, and maternal instincts that transcended family. A true matriarch, in the best sense of the word, she shaped and influenced both family and friends with her sage guidance, friendship, and unconditional love. Her legacy will live on in many forms, but perhaps most in her rare ability to find good in everyone. In lieu of any remembrances or tributes, her last wish would be for us to embrace this trait and to pay it forward.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Berry and her parents, Charles and Bethel Eubank.
Survivors include her daughter, Lee Millay (Tim), sons Nick (Tonia), and Mark (Jill). Her grandchildren, and the most recent beneficiaries of her love and presence, include Brandy Hassman (Jon), Jaclyn Hodskins (Jacob), Jessica West (Matt), Jason Berry, Jamie Holeman, Lauren Berry, Jake Berry, and Robert Whittington. She was also blessed to have a late-in-life roommate, confidant, and partner in petty nursing home crimes in Mary Aull.
Special acknowledgment is also given to Gaynell Stallings, Director of Nursing at Signature Health Care at Hillcrest, whose love and caregiving made her transition to an eternal rest so seamless.

The funeral service for Mrs. Berry will be held with limited attendance at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
