Robert Lee Park, 87, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

He was born May 19, 1933, in Rowan County to Murray and Effie Basinger Park.

Robert worked as a Distribution Technician at Fieldcrest Cannon for over 45 years. He was a veteran who served as a sergeant in the United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rockwell, NC.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his three brothers, Jason Park, Clarence Park, and Marvin Park as well as three sisters, Ezella Fesperman, Susie Pinion, and Hazel Dabbs.

Robert is survived by his wife Barbara June Park; son, Keith Linn (Debbie) Park of Salisbury, NC; two grandsons; Cameron (Stacie) Park and Jesse (Olivia) Park and two great-grandchildren: Ruthie Park and Beau Park as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021, in the First Baptist Church of Rockwell, Rockwell, NC, with Pastor Matthew Laughter, officiating, and Pastor Gerry Steedley assisting. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Rockwell, 8630 Hillcrest Drive, Rockwell, NC 28138. Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell, honored provider of Veterans Funeral Care, is assisting the Park family.
