Graveside services for Jessie D. Martin, age 90, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas with Brother Jared Russell officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas with services under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. in Thayer, Missouri.

He was married on July 9, 1950 to Clara M. Pressley and to this union, three children were born.
Jessie served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 in the Korean War. He was a member of the Mammoth Spring VFW.
He owned and operated a barbershop in Mammoth Spring from 1955 to 1992. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed untold hours around the pool tables at Fun & Friends Senior Center in Thayer, Missouri. He also enjoyed building birdhouses and windmills and he gave a great number of them away. He always treated everyone like he would want to be treated.
Survivors include his wife, Clara of the home; two daughters, Rhonda Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Leah Ann Iaguessa (Tony) of Ash Grove, Missouri; granddaughter, Anisha Martin of Campbell, California; grandson, Joseph Iaguessa of Springfield, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; friends; and long-time friend, Travis Callahan of Springfield, Missouri.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Isaac and Rebecca Martin; son Roger; four brothers, Ernest, Junus, Boyd and Delmas; and five sisters, Ruby, Wilma, Zelna, Ima Lee and Faye.
Jessie loved his family and will be greatly missed.
