Charles “Chuck” Ralph Hawley, Jr, passed away December 26, 2020 at St. Luke’s North Hospital.

He was born on July 6, 1944 to Ralph and Helen (Redinger) Hawley in Ottumwa, IA.

Chuck worked in Plant Maintenance as an HVAC Mechanic for TWA for 38 years.

On August 18, 1962, he married Vicki Kay Hawley (Young). Chuck and Vicki lived in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was a member of the IAM Union and enjoyed sharing stories about his travels overseas, snorkeling and scuba diving, taking underwater pictures in the Red Sea, and after retirement, writing fictional novels about alternative energy sources.

Chuck is survived by his loving Wife of 58 years, Vicki, Son Rick Hawley, Daughter Cindy Grover (Hawley), Granddaughters Mikala and Sarah Grover, Brothers Dwaine and Dennis Hawley.

He was preceded in death by his Father, C. Ralph Hawley and Mother, Helen L. Flack (Redinger, Hawley).

A private graveside service will take place at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
