Paul Frederic Neal, Sr., 78, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.
A Guilford County native, Paul was born on January 18, 1942, the son of the late Joe Neal and Betty Sherron Neal.
Following high school he proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed outdoor activities, hunting and fishing; and sports, especially if the Carolina Tar Heels or Atlanta Braves were playing. Paul retired from Proctor & Gamble.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Preston Neal in 2009.
Surviving are children Paul F. Neal, Jr of Stokesdale, Candy Wilson (Robbie) of Madison and Adam Neal (David) of Vilas; 2 sisters Betty Knight and Joann Neal both of Madison; 4 grandchildren Katlin Neal, Halee Neal, Chase Wilson, and Olivia Wilson; 1 great-granddaughter Sophia.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, at Stokesdale Christian Church cemetery with Mr. Randy Southard presiding. While there will be no formal visitation, friends are welcomed to pay their respects at Forbis & Dick - Stokesdale between 1 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The family will not be present.
