HAWKINS-BEY, Mr. Kevin Lee - age 44, passed away, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland.

Mr. Kevin Lee Hawkins-Bey was born July 2, 1970 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Barbara Mae Vernon and Johnie Hawkins and step son of John Shields Jr. Kevin attended Pontiac Schools and later obtained a GED, he always worked and one of the many jobs he had Kevin loved to do landscaping of which he worked many years and obtained many skills he had a degree in horticulture. Kevin grew up in the church but later joined the Moorish Science Temple of America Inc. in which he was a faithful member of Temple #20 in Pontiac, Michigan. Kevin later went on to become a minister in 2001. He loved playing basketball, Madden Football, listening to Run DMC and wearing his Adidas. Kevin was a good man, wonderful father, loyal friend and an outstanding little brother. He had a loveable personality that touched many lives over the years, and was loved by many.
