Larry was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a son of Janie Lunsford Beck of Clyde and the late E. C. (Junior) Beck. He was a “prayer warrior” for everyone each night, friends or foe alike and was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kendera Beck of Knoxville, Tennessee and Christy Cagle (D.J.) of Sweetwater, Tennessee; one son, Kevin Beck (Heather Lee) of Clyde; three sisters, Debbie Jones (Keith) of Clyde, Rhonda Beck of Candler, and Tammy Lanning (Randy) of Clyde; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dallas James, Reverend Chad Bennett and Reverend Scott Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Plains United Methodist Church Cemetery.
