Linda Sanford Bowlin, 71, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Monday at the Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery near Lexington. The Rev. Rob Banks will officiate.
Linda was born to James Albert and Ida Mae Sandford in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School. She had been a resident of Greenwood for over 50 years. She loved to cook, vacation with her siblings and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Bowlin is survived by her husband, Charles "Redd" Bowlin; two daughters, Regina Hicks and Ina Kennedy, both of Greenwood; a son, Brent Bowlin (Dana) of Folsom, LA.; two sisters, Louise Gilbert (john) of Greenwood and Brenda Ledbetter of Lexington; two brothers, Sonny Sanford (Shirley) and Jim Sanford (Liz), both of Tupelo; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home.
