Lewis W. Gibson, 90, husband of the late Marietta "Marty" Hardin Gibson, passed away on December 24, 2020. He was the son of the late Horace and Maggie Gibson and was born in Lexington, Kentucky on December 29, 1929. Lewis was a graduate of Henry Clay High School class of 1947 where was a football Allstar. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1985 after 28 years of service and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff Gibson and Chris (Mandy) Gibson, both of Lexington, Kentucky; and his granddaughter, Kristin Noell (Sean) Rosenberg; and his great-granddaughter, Wesley Morgan Rosenberg.
Lewis is preceded in death by his brothers, Bobbie, Charlie, and Maurice Gibson and his sisters, Geneva Williams, Marie Hartley, and Jean Jones.
