Services for Billy Larry Fowler, 81, of Tyler, Texas, were held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel in Tyler, TX, with Pastor Scott Brown Officiating. Mr. Fowler passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 in Tyler, TX. He was born December 25, 1938, in Kaufman, Texas to William Everett Fowler and Monte Katherine Monk Fowler. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church of Bullard. He graduated from Kaufman High School with the Class of 1957. He held the position of Senior Safety Engineer with Employers Insurance of Wausau. Billy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 34 years, Marilyn Fowler, his children, Debbie Fowler Anderson and husband, Charlie; Cindy Fowler Schaaf; Tim Fowler and wife, Denise; Tama Johnson and husband, Steve; and Travis Thompson and wife Kellye; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Dakota, Sela, Katea, Sam, Tanner, Micah, Griffin, Torrin, and Dylan, and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jase, and Brandon. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Boss; his first wife, Edie Stoldt Strickland; and a host of cousins, other family members, and friends who will all miss him dearly.
