Ralph Gary Scott, 77, of Chillicothe, died December 21, 2020, in Grant Medical Center, as a result of injuries sustained in a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident.

He was born March 5, 1943 in Ross Co. to the late Ralph and Juanita Jones Scott.

On May 28, 1965 he married she survives.

Also surviving are three children; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Isabelle Scott; a sister, Shirley Hatfield; and a brother, Ken Jones.

Mr. Scott retired from the Kenworth Truck Company and the Ross Co. Sheriff's Department.

He was a member of Brookside Church and enjoyed woodworking, painting and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

His public graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday in Greenlawn Cemetery.
