She was born November 27, 1927 in Caldwell County to the late Sidney Monroe Crump and Rosa Greene.
She was also preceded by her husband of 61 years, James Douglas "JD" Storie; her son, Sheldon Dee Storie; two brothers, Max Crump and Paul Louis Crump; two sisters, Hazel Mae Crump Laws and Clara Dean Crump Walsh.
She was a loyal member of Christian Fellowship Chapel.
Survivors include daughter, Cindy (Charlie) Johnson; adopted daughter, Dama (Steve) Crews; grandsons, Bobby Storie and Aaron Storie; granddaughter, Brandy Storie Knox; great-grandson, Dalton Storie; sister, Barbara Crowe; sister-in-law, Betty Crump; daughter-in-law, Theresa Lail Storie.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Pastor Dan Green.
