Gerald was a 1961 graduate of Birdseye High School, and married Carolyn Sue O’Hern, April 12, 1969. Gerald was employed with Chrysler Corporation before beginning his career in the drapery industry. He was employed with Aero Drapery Service, Herb’s Drapery Service and finally Wayne’s Drapery Service, Inc., for over 53 years. Gerald was a member of The Bible Church since 1962.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at The Bible Church, 6555 E. Payne Rd.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn S. King; son, Michael A. King (Spring); grandchildren, Aleana King, Jonathan King, Josiah King, Bethany King and Makayla King; great-granddaughter, Willow; and daughter-in-law, Crystal King (Isaiah Morrow).
A son, Steven W. King; two brothers, Elvis G. King and Jerald L. King; and three sisters, Wilma L. Julian, Phyllis F. O’Connor and Olive M. King, preceded him in death.
