Janet West Thompson, 69, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 23, 1951, in Horry County, a daughter of the late David Jack and Wilma Register West.
In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband, James Edward Thompson; daughter, Amy Thompson McLain and brother, David Mike West.
Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her Coca-Cola and Monarch cigarettes. Living life to the fullest, she enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard, dancing and most of all her truck and four-wheeler.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her sister, Joyce Rollings (Rickie); granddaughter, Meagan McLain (Donnie); two great grandchildren, Gracyn Stewart and Bryson Stewart; sister-in-law Sharon West; special nieces, nephews and cousins and many other family and friends who she loved and will greatly miss her.
A Graveside Service will be held 3pm Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Antioch UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at all other times at Ashley Allen’s residence, 6645 Everbreeze Road, Conway, SC 29527. Watson Funeral Services and Crematory, 2300 Hwy 378, Conway, SC is serving the family.
