Sondra S. "Sue" Massey, 65, died on December 22, 2020 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born on June 15, 1955 in Marion, IN to the late Jewell and Rita (Mills) Conner. On April 5, 1975 in Monon, IN, she married Ronald L. "Ron" Massey; they later divorced but remained friends.

Sondra had lived in the Monon area and was a 1974 graduate of North White High School. She went on to attend Ivy Tech Community College. Sondra was a military wife and had lived in England, San Bernardino, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Cheyenne, WY Air Forces Bases, and after Ron retired from the military, they relocated back to Monticello, IN in 1994. She was a terminal manager at Conoco Truck Stop in Cheyenne, WY and was responsible for establishing a union while working there. In 1997, she stated working as a cashier at the Monticello Kroger Store and was a front-end supervisor while working there. She had the opportunity to see the world while being married to Ron. Sondra loved spending time with her family and always started her mornings with a cup of coffee, sharing it with numerous people on Facebook. She also had a love for music and genealogy. Sondra helped numerous other families research their genealogy. She was known for her larger than life smile, personality and her beautiful singing voice. Family was everything in Sondra’s life.

She is survived by her ex-husband; three children; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four siblings; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, cousins and friends. Sondra was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings - Larry Conner, James Conner, Kenneth Conner and Patricia Conner.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, December, 27, 2020 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Rev. Donald "Don" Harmon of the Yeoman United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Bedford Cemetery in Monon, IN.
