Angela C. (Swallow) Rich, 46, of Pontiac, died June 28, 2009 at her residence, after battling cancer for the last four years.
She was born December 23, 1962 in Fort Carson, Colorado, daughter of Howard and Charlene (Poindexter) Swallow. She married Joey Rich on April 29, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV. He survives.
Also surviving are a son: Richie (Lindsey Bohm) Rich of Pontiac; three daughters: Hilary Brown of Gridley; Lindsay Rich of Pontiac; and Joey Rich of Chenoa; two brothers: Jeffrey Swallow of Lyndon Station, WI and Randy Swallow of Pontiac; a sister: Pamela (Michael) Neuber of Normal; two grandchildren: Vanessa Rich and Makayla Rich; nephews: Joshua Swallow and Trevor, Eric and Kevin Neuber; a niece: Nicolea Swallow; and longtime friend and caregiver: Denise McCabe of Chenoa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Angela had been working for the Finish Line in Chenoa.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Graymont. She was a 1981 graduate of Leroy High School.
Angela loved gardening, stock car racing, and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan.
