Larry "Brother" Hudson

Larry "Brother" Hudson, age 68, of Antioch, TN, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. He was born December 9, 1952 in Antioch, TN, the son of Charles Ray Hudson and Ruth Inez Leaver Hudson, and a beloved sibling of two sisters, Becky Bowden (Tom) and Robbie Wix (Joe), and one brother, Randy Hudson (Annette).
Survived by his three siblings, his daughter, Tammy Hudson; two granddaughters, Shelby Goodman and Candice Villegas (Miguel); and four great-grandchildren, Arianna, Aubree, Ian and Sofia.
Larry was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and a man of God. He was a devoted member of Cane Ridge Free Will Baptist Church in Antioch, TN and served as a greeter for Sunday service.
After retiring with 31 years of service from Colonial Bakery, he filled his time attending car shows, taking care of his fish, drinking coffee every morning with his friends at Waffle House or McDonalds, making memories with his family, and spoiling his great grandkids.
He will be remembered for his deep love of his family and friends, oldies music, classic cars, coffee, peanut butter cookies, NASCAR, the Patriots and Tom Brady, slot machines, and patterned socks with matching t-shirts.
Due to COVID, his family has elected to forgo a formal viewing and service.
Family and friends are welcome to gather in their own vehicles at the burial site, Woodlawn Memorial Park, on Tuesday, December 22, at 12:00 p.m. for a prayer.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
