RIO HONDO - Mr. and Mrs. Walt Edward Foelker announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Annrita Foelker, to Franklin Thomas Graham Jr., of Brownsville.
Mr. Graham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Thomas Graham of Brownsville, is stationed at Karlsruhe, Germany, where the marriage will take place in early October.
Miss Foelker will sail from New York harbor on the Queen Elizabeth on Sept. 28, arriving in Cherbrough, France on Oct. 3.
The bride-elect holds a degree in elementary education from Incarnate Word college, San Antonio, where she served as vice president of the student council, president of the International Relations club and was chosen queen of the Senior ball. She is a graduate of Rio Hondo High School and Texas Southmost college, Brownsville, and during the past year taught third grade in the Rio Hondo school.
Mr. Graham is a graduate of the law school of St. Mary's university in San Antonio where he was elected to membership in Delta Theta Phi, honorary legal fraternity. He also was graduated from Brownsville High school and Texas Southmost college, Brownsville. He is now serving in the army at Karlsruhe, where he expects to be stationed for the next year.
