Visitation with social distancing will be Tuesday, December 22 from 4-6 p.m. at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Lawrenceville City Cemetery in Lawrenceville, IL.
She was born on November 27, 1941, in Vincennes, IN, to Everett and Katherine (Bailey) Perry. On September 19, 1962, she married Gary Ford of Lawrenceville who preceded her in death in 1997.
Martha was a loving wife, dedicated mother, and cared for everyone. She would babysit for friends, family, and people in need. She was a fan of Elvis, watching old westerns, and enjoying a sweet treat.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Chris) Angelini of Peru; a son, Jim (Miki) Ford of Seatonville, IL; seven grandchildren, Steely Cox, Ashley Carbon, Alex Angelini, Aiden Angelini, Eric Johnson Jr., Gary Martinez, and Elijah Angelini; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Mike (Roseanne) Perry; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary; one daughter, Kathy Dempsy; and one brother, Robert Perry.
