Worked his entire adult life in the US Oil & Gas Industry. He lived most of his younger life in Oakdale, Mamou and Lake Charles, Louisiana. He later lived in several places in Louisiana and Texas. He lived his later retired life in Hayes, Louisiana.
He worked for and managed several drilling fluids companies in Louisiana - Crowley, Lafayette, and Alice, Laredo & Houston Texas. He managed two specialty chemical companies in Louisiana. He worked as an independent Oilfield Consultant for the last 8 years of his working life.
He developed an auto-immune condition - a type of Neuropathy, known as C.I.D.P., which caused weakening of nerves and pretty much disabled him from working.
