Private graveside services for Mr. Phillip B. Williamson, 80, of Weaver, will be held by the family in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mr. Williamson died Friday, December 18, 2020, at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. and Maggie Williamson; and an infant sister.
Mr. Williamson was of Baptist by faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country faithfully. Mr. Williamson was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a wonderful grandfather.
He spent most of his working career as a police officer, serving the communities of Ragland, Ohatchee, and Weaver, for many years. In his spare time, Mr. Williamson enjoyed watching Alabama football and searching out family history, keeping his genealogy records very current, as none other could.
