Mr. Henry “Hank” Estes, age 83, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday evening, December 17, 2020, at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Kentucky.
He was born August 3, 1937, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Rexford Theodore Estes Sr. and Nona Hensley Estes Boggs.
Hank was of the Christian faith and had retired from construction work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel Estes, James R. Estes and Jerry C. Estes.
Hank is survived by three sons, Rexford Lee Estes of Port Angeles, Washington, Denis James Estes (Tammy) of Exeter, California, and Henry Lee Estes Jr. (Kei) of Bakersfield, California; one daughter, Cheryl Ann Brown of Port Angeles, Washington; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Rexford “Ted” Estes (Sue) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and two sisters, Mary “Abbee” Vernis Walker of Akron, Ohio and Patricia Bowles of Las Vegas, Nevada. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Ed Jones officiating.
Friends may visit from 11 till 12 noon Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
