During her early life, she joined St. Mark Baptist Church. She served this Church very faithful until she fell in declining health many years ago. She was a good neighbor to the people of her community. To know her was to love her.
She leaves to mourn her passing: five (5) daughters, Mrs. Ada Lewis, Mrs. Jannie Davis, Mrs. Hattie Davis, Mrs. Lou Hannibal, and Mrs. Carmella Hannibal; three (3) sons, Mr. William, Bossie and Walter Rogers; forty-eight (48) grandchildren, one hundred and two (102) great grandchildren, one sister, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
