A native of Oshkosh. Mrs. Elizabeth Elmore Palmer. 88. widow of the Rev. Francis L. Palmer, passed away Tuesday at St. Paul, Minn.

She was born m Oshkosh Nov. 17,. 1863, the daughter of Mr. and Mr. George M. Paine. Mrs. Palmer attended the Oshkosh Normal school (Oshkosh States Teachers college) In 1871 and was graduated from Smith College, North Hampton, -Mass. in 1889. For two years, in 1890 and 1891, she. was an instructor in what is now. Milwaukee Downer college, Milwaukee. She was married Oct 1, 1894 to the Rev. Mr. Palmer, an Episcopalian clergyman.

Survivors are a daughter, Miss Georgians Palmer, a professor of languages at McAllister college. St. Paul; and a son, Theodore Palmer, a professor of mathematics at Rose Polytechnic institute, Terre Haute, Ind. Also surviving is sister, Mrs. E. L. Wickwire, Oshkosh, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services win be held In St Paul Saturday at 11 a. m. Burial services will be held In Riverside cemetery here Saturday March 18, the first anniversary of the Rev, Mr. Palmer's death. Dr. Earle G. Lier will officiate.
