This is Ezra Poland who appears in the 1860 and 1870 Morgan County, IL, Census records. Esuriah Poland married Margaret (Story) Rousey 6 April 1845 in Morgan County, IL. Their children were James Porter, who married Louisa Gunn, and Elizabeth, who married her first cousin, John Williams Story, son of Parish Garner and Mary (Duncan McManus) Story.

Eusuriah was first married to Eunice Sears. While they were living in Pennsylvania, they had at least one daughter, Emmaline. Emmaline married Charles S. Bellows in Greene County, Illinois 21 March 1850. The first of their children, Elvina, was born in 1851 and died the next year. She is buried in this cemetery near her grandfather. Emmaline and Charles took their surviving daughter, Nancy, and moved to Decatur County, Iowa where they had several more children: Lucy, Harry, Rose, Sciota, Rachel, Josephine and Isa Mae.

Margaret was first married to George William Rousey, who died in 1837, leaving her with four children: Vincent George who married Sarah Caroline Gunn; William M. who married Ursula Jane Gunn, Francis, married to Rebecca Bradley, and Caroline who married Theophilis Rimbey.

Margaret was a daughter of James and Hannah Mary (Self) Story. Her brothers, Vincent, Parish Garner and Porter Story are also all buried in this cemetery.
