Mildred Anna Morris age 83 a resident at Highland View Health Care in Brockway died on Sunday December 13, 2020. Born on October 18, 1936 in Franklin, NJ; she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Bell Mackerley. She was married to Edward J. Morris and he preceded her in death on September 4, 1991. Retired, Mildred had worked at the former DuBois Hospital for many years in the cleaning department and she also worked at the St. Marys hospital in Tennessee in cleaning for several years. She was Methodist by faith. Mildred enjoyed crocheting, building jig saw puzzles and reading. She also was a dog lover and always had a dog in her life. She is survived by 2 sons: Harold Morris of St. Marys, PA; Edward (Gwendolyn) Morris Jr. of Tampa, FL; 4 daughters: Donna Stanko of Calhoun, GA; Mabel (Victor) Smith of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Mildred Donahue of Brookville, PA and Laura (Glenn) Walker of Reynoldsville, PA; She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by and infant son George Michael Morris, 2 sisters: Laura Wendell, Martha Stevens and 3 brothers: George, Harold and John Mackerley.
