This is the monument for Smith Jacob Bitner and Della K. Foreman Bitner. The other side of this monument is for Della's parents Abraham Lincoln Foreman and Alice Johnston Foreman. This picture was taken on the 23 Jun 2014.

Bitner Gathering: probably 1912 or 1913 at 408 North Allison Street,Greencastle, PA, USA

My Bitner genealogy friend Bonny Bitner Andrews sent me this photo. She indicated that her nephew Doug Bitner had given it to her.
I believe the older gentleman who is wearing a top hat and sitting in the front row is my great-grandfather Lewis Hege Bitner. The shorter woman next to him is my great grandmother Mattie (Martha) Elizabeth Smith Bitner. The man next to Mattie is my grandfather Robert Bentley Bitner. Next to Robert Bentley is my grandmother Avis Gail Bell Bitner. My grandparents were married in 1912 and their first child Anna Mattie was born on 20 Feb 1913. I am guessing that the two couples far left in Row 1 could be John S. Bitner and wife Lillie Blanch Brewer Bitner and Edward Lewis Bitner and wife Susan E. Brewer Bitner. I do not who is who in the two couples. However, I do know that brothers married sisters. In addition, daughters Susan and Elizabeth Bitner married Hade brothers David and Charles, respectively.
