James Herbert Elmore of Summersville, Kentucky, son of the late Elvie Elmore and Mary Alice Warren Elmore, was born on Wednesday, June 10, 1942 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. He was 77 years, 9 months, and 24 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Living Word Faith Center and was a farmer.
Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law: Alene Loyall and Betty and Charles Milby all of Summersville; two special nieces and nephews: Lois Jean Milby, Shirley Faye Milby, Ricky Loyall, and Jerry Loyall all of Summersville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Elmore was also preceded in death by a sister: Anna Mary Milby.

Private services will be held for James Herbert Elmore. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the funeral arrangements. Bro. Jerry Judd officiating.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses which can be made through the funeral home.
