teven Earl Andrews, 59, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Steven was born in Greencastle, Indiana on November 20, 1961 to the late Robert “Bob” Lee Andrews and Carolyn Sue Black Powell. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Nuclear Weapons Security Specialist. After the Air Force, he was a cabinet installer, owner of his own business, and worked for Lowe’s for 20 years, where he designed kitchens all over the local area. He also was a talented musician and played guitar in a band. Steven will be remembered as a selfless and sympathetic man who spread kindness to others with his giving heart. He would often buy other people’s meals without them knowing as an act of kindness. He was a frequent customer at G & O Pharmacy where he was nicknamed “Patty Melt Steve.” Throughout his health struggles, he always kept a positive mind and outlook. Steven was a faithful Christian. Above all, he was proudest of his girls and loved them dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with military honors.
