Paulette A. Wallace, age 64, of Dixon Avenue, DuBois, PA, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Penn Highlands-DuBois after a lengthy illness.

Though a twin, Paulette Wallace was one of a kind. She was warm and caring, with an easy smile and fanciful sense of style (one thing that is for certain, is that Paulette will find a pair of shoes to match her wings).

In High School, Paulette began working at Union Bank and Trust Company (now S&T Bank) and continued there as a teller for 45 years. She considered each customer her friend, and retired only after she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She volunteered at Hahne Cancer Center to help others going through a similar journey.

Paulette was born on December 29, 1955, the beloved daughter of John (deceased) and Agnes (Serafini) Winkler, and is survived by her twin brother, Paul (Connie) Winkler, Perry (Brian Musser) Winkler, Denise (Richard) Watkavitch, and several nieces and nephews whom she cherished.

Due to the COVID pandemic, arrangements will be private. The family looks forward to an opportunity to celebrate Paulette‘s life later in 2021. Paulette’s sincere wish was that every woman would have a yearly mammogram. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gateway Humane Society or DuBois Elementary School‘s art or music programs.

The Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield has been entrusted with final arrangements and the family will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.
