Kathy Wilson, age 62, passed away on December 7, 2020 at her residence. Recently retiring, Kathy was still learning how to be “retired”. Many of her days would be spent with her grandkids, close friends, family, and those close to her heart; of many would be Tamara, Barbie, Alisa, Charlie and Kristy Iddins and their 3 boys, Caleb, Colt, and Peyton. Her love of people and helping others perhaps came from her years of work in local stores where she met countless friends. During football season, you could guarantee that Kathy would be watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Additionally, she was an avid fan of Nascar racing as well. A loving heart and gentle soul, Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edsel and Alice Brazel; a son, Matthew Stanfield; two brothers, Richard and Jimmy Brazel.

Left to cherish precious memories made are a son, Justin (Amanda) Stanfield of Reidsville; two step-daughters, DeAnn (Tony) Willis of Reidsville and Tami Wilson of Vidalia; two granddaughters, Mattilee and Raegan Stanfield of Reidsville; two brothers, Eddie Brazel of Collins, and John Brazel of Reidsville; a sister, Melissa (Tommy) Hulett of Brunswick; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial. Funeral services will be held on December 9, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial with Pastor Sherry Hill officiating.
