Jo Nell (Davis) Diamond passed away December 8th, 2020 in Evansville, IN. She was born February 8th, 1940 to Russell and Nellie (Leach) Davis in Cromwell, KY.
She volunteered many years at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home and served on the Board of the Auxiliary there. She also volunteered at the Events Center and at Hangers.
She enjoyed working with flowers (having a green thumb) and crocheting with the "Happy Hookers" at Leisure Living.
Jo Nell is survived by her husband, Donald Diamond (with their 50th anniversary on December 17th, 2020); daughters, Carol Peerman (Bill) of Mt. Vernon, IN, Donna Flanigan (Tim) of Evansville, IN; sons, Larry W Quirk (Kelly) of Fayetteville, NC, John L. Quirk of Newburgh, IN; brother, Gene Goodman (Teresa) of Hartford, KY; brother-in-law, Ernest Embry of Owensboro, KY; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Duane Diamond; daughter, Darla Eakins; grandson, Josh Diamond; and her sister, Alice Embry.
There will be no services at Browning Funeral Home, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Browning Funeral Home. Published in Courier Press from Dec. 8, to Dec. 9, 2020.
