Mr. Files was born in Birdsville, Tex., 2/18/1888, the son of Lincoln and Mary Margaret (Berry) Files. He was married in 1911 to Martha Hiley, who died about 14 years ago. His family moved to Barnhill when he was about 5. Survived by one son, one sister, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
