Edgar Addison Walton, born on May 27, 1905, in Wapanucka, Oklahoma attended Wapanucka Elementary School before the family moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma where he attended and gradauated from the high School. He moved away from home to work in the oil fields. He married Gladys Jarvis in October of 1926 and they were the parents of two children, Jarvis Edgar (J. Edd} and Judy Walton.

Edgar Addison Walton was a General Manager in varioius oil fields in which he worked which required the family to move quite often. Gladys once said it was about 13 or 14 times in which they moved and lived in small (company) homes.

Edgar Addison Walton died on September 9, 1950, of a sudden heart attack, and is buried in the Jourdanton City Cemetery beside his wife.
