Edra Raye Coomer, 84, Elm Street, Campbellsville, died Sunday, April 4, 1993, at the Taylor County Hospital after an illness. She was the daughter of the late Sherman Wingler and Tempy Patrick Wingler and a native of Virginia. Coomer was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She is survived by 1 son and 1 daughter, Marvin Coomer and Betty Warren, both of Campbellsville; 2 grandchildren, Denise & Wesley Warren; 1 brother and 3 sisters, Wade Wingler and Edna Wingler, both of Campbellsville, and Ollie Combs and Virgie Dishman, both of Ohio; several other relatives and many friends. The funeral was at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Green River Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. J.C. Greenwell officiated. Pallbearers were Bradley Pace, Robert Coomer, Gene Atwood, Chuck McGinnis, Doug Wingler, Bud Warren, Don Scott, Tommy Young and Gerald Woody. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Beams and Wesley Warren.
