E. F. JENSEN SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Earl F. Jensen were held Tuesday in the Vernal Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Merrill Mecham in charge.

Melba Eaton played the prelude and postlude music. Dorothy Peltier performed the opening musical, "Perfect Day," Norman McGregor gave the invocation. Bishop Mecham gave the opening remarks. Kenneth G. Anderton was the speaker. The closing music, "Somewhere My Love," was by Dorothy Peltier. George Cozart gave the benediction.

Burial was in the Heber City Cemetery. The pallbearers were Phil Martin, Laurence Siddoway, Allan Martin, Richard Jensen, Greg Mickelson and Harold Douglas. Clifton Mickelson dedicated the grave.

EARL FROST JENSEN, 72, Vernal, died in the Uintah County Hospital on March 22 of a heart ailment. He was born January 8, 1903 in Vernal. He was the son of Julius Jensen and Vilate Goodrich. He married NettieM. Powell, March 16, 1927 in Duchesne. It was later solemzied in the Salt Lake Temple. She died July 9, 1962. He then married Edith Lavinia McKnight on July 30, 1970 at Vernal. He worked for the Utah Highway Department for 20 years. He was a member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife, one foster daughter, Mrs. Tom (Barbara Ann) Mickelson, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, four sisters, Clyde Jensen, Mrs. Kay (Lenore) Samuels, both of Elk Grove, California; Mrs. Harold (Beth) Dougal of Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Phil (Lucy) Martin and Mrs. Laurence (Merle) Siddoway, both of Vernal.

Graveside services were held in the Heber City Cemetery.
