Gail was born to Wesley M. Reed and Margaret Ellen Fox, in St. Louis Missouri. She was an only child. Moved to and lived in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, where she graduated high school. Met Daniel Bowling at Camp Donavon. After his early death, she remarried Miles Weir Nelson. Gail had 2 sons and one daughter with Daniel, and 1 daughter with Miles. I am her oldest daughter, and, here's to my mother who will never be forgotten- (YOU'RE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE!)
