Patricia (affectionately known as “Pat,” “Ms. Pat,” or “Tricia”) was born October 20, 1956 in Far Rockaway, NY to Dorothy and Clayborn Sowell. She experienced rebirth when she gave her life to Christ and was baptized at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church.

Patricia grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and was educated in Okaloosa County. She was a proud graduate of Choctawhatchee High School, class of 1974. She spent 25+ years working for Centel and Sprint phone companies. She has been a member of Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church for 50+ years, faithfully attending and serving the Lord. She was currently employed as the administrative assistant of Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, a role that she thoroughly enjoyed. She also took pleasure in baking pound cakes and crocheting blankets...usually for someone else.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 22, 2020, the Lord relieved her from the burdens of this world and took her home to live with Him. She will forever be deeply missed by family and friends she left behind, but will be received by those who have gone on before her.
