Sarah Alice Kimbler Silvey Kirk, 63, of Vanceburg, Ky., died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at a Vanceburg care center.
She was born July 26, 1936, in Lewis County, Ky., a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Perry Kimbler. She was a homemaker and of the Apostolic faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Silvey, in 1996; and her second husband, Robert Kirk, in 1997.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Everett (Sonia) Bentley of Vanceburg; two brothers, Johnny Lynsey Kimbler of Camp Dix, Ky., and Andrew Jackson Kimbler of Vanceburg, Ky.; one half brother, James Frederick Kimbler of Vanceburg; one sister, Betty Lou Taylor of Garrison, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Neddie Lee Kimbler; and three sisters, Lorene, Pauline and Mary Margaret Kimbler.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Rev. Harold Eugene Evans officiating, and interment in Silvey Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
