Rose Lee Nicks, age 61 of Springville, TN died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

Funeral services were Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 7:30 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home, Dresden, TN

Ms. Nicks is survived by her long time companion, Ray Lynn Maxey of Springville, TN; two daughters, Anna (Phillip) Bush of Cottage Grove, TN and Carol (Adam) Vermillion of Mckenzie, TN; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Ruth (Ray) Ellis of Paris, TN, Pauline (William) Garner of Dresden, TN and Joyce (Billy) Burnett of Paris, TN.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family.

Rose Lee Nicks, 61, of Dresden died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

Services are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden. Sam Swanson will officiate.

Locally, Nicks is survived by a daughter: Anna (Phillip) Bush of Cottage Grove; two sisters: Ruth (Ray) Ellis of Paris, and Joyce (Billy) Burnett of Paris; and a longtime companion: Ray Lynn Maxey of Springville.

Nicks was born June 27, 1950, in Weakley County to the late Roy and Inez Davis VanCleave.

She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Dresden.

Nicks also is survived by a daughter: Carol (Adam) Vermillion of McKenzie; a sister Pauline (William) Garner of Dresden; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
