Nathan Dean Ellis, 71, of Ridgeway, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, at Franklin Health and Rehab, Rocky Mount, Virginia.
He was born March 20, 1949, in Penhook, Virginia, to the late Jack and Edna Perdue Ellis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Crigger Ellis; a sister, Irene Bennett; and three brothers, Garrett L. Ellis, Wayne Ellis, and Floyd Ellis.
He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed hunting, yard sales, and flea markets. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and the NFL Raiders.
Mr. Ellis is survived by his daughters, Tammy E. Crowe and Sandra Ellis; three grandchildren, Shawn McGuire, Daniel McGuire, and Kevin Crowe; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
