David Pierce
Died at North Williamston, Mar. 1st, after a severe illness, David Pierce, aged 77 years. Brother Pierce had been in declining health for several years, but previous to that he was a regular attendant at the Nictaux church, of which he was a faithful member. Mr. Pierce leaves to mourn their loss, a devoted wife, five daughters, a son and a host of friends. Miss Aggie has been the “Martha” in the house for several years, caring in the most tender and affectionate way for her father and mother. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. H.G. Mellick, of Lawrencetown, who spoke very appropriately from Rev. 14: 13.
