Agnes Mosey Duffy, 96, formerly of Wolcott Ave. died June 29, 2003. She was born in Geneva and resided in Syracuse most of her life. Mrs. Duffy was a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester for several years. She was the widow of Charles P. Duffy, Sr., who was an optometrist in Syracuse for 50 years. Her son Thomas Duffy died in 1955.
She is survived by a daughter, Joanne M. Duffy of Syracuse; three sons - Charles P. Jr. of Syracuse, John F. of Baltimore, MD, and William J. of Bel Air, MD.; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Prof. Abigail Mosey of Geneva.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 8:45 a.m. at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home, 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, Taunton. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home, 3700 W. Genesee St.
