Loretta Young Parker, 87, of Danville, passed away, July 17, 2020 at her residence. Born March 18, 1933 in Danville, she was the daughter of James Edward and Naomi Edmonds Young. She was married to Wilbert W. Parker, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Karen Parker-Kerekes (Steve) and Pamela Parker Toombs; five sisters, Bernice Ferguson, Carolyn Kates, Louise Brandon, Almelda Horton and Cynthia Young; three brothers, Nathan Young, Freddie Young and Randolph Young; a host of other relatives. She was also predeceased by four siblings, Aquilla Culver, Shirley Hairston, James Young and Douglas Ray Young.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
