Col. Allums served in the U.s. Army Air Force, WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2003, Lora Lee (Deloach) Allums; his daughter, Lora Lee Allums, parents, Rev. Robert Archie & Flora Kate (Miller) Allums; brothers, Robert E. & James T. Allums; sisters, Vena Mae A. Smith, & Ruby Neil A. Williams. He is survived by a brother, Marvin M. Allums, Winter Park, FL; sisters, Sarah A. Lapeyrouse & Bobbie A. Bell, Centreville, MS; sisters-in-law, Elsie C. Allums, Winter Park; Georgetta A. Allums, Ellisville, MS, & Jane D. Parks, Signal Mountain, TN; many nieces & nephews, and other family and friends. Interment followed memorial services conducted at the Fort Meyer Post Chapel in Arlington, VA, April 19, 2006.
