MILDRED "TOTSIE" BURNHAM
1933-2007

Mildred "Totsie" Burnham, age 73, passed away Monday, October 1, 2007. Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was married for 55 years to the late Ellis E. Burnham Sr. and had seven children. She was a beloved member of the Community of Christ Church on Jackson Street for over 55 years. Mildred was always very kind and caring and was devoted to her husband and children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ellis E. Burnham Sr.; her father and mother, George Wesley Godwin and Juanita Evanelia Godwin; her brothers, Alma Godwin, Ralph Godwin, Albert Godwin; her sisters, Edna Ard, Maebelle Heise, Lucille Clark and Gladys Veasey.
She is survived by her children, Ellis E. Burnham Jr.; Paula Logsdon and her husband, David, Cindy Fickel and her husband, John, Jane Burnham and her fiancé, Phillip Dyar, Joan Garcia and her husband, Oscar, Joyce Hunt and her husband, Robert, Lisa Childs and her husband, Vincent; 12 grandchildren, Raymond Arrasmith, Jennifer Arrasmith, Kelly Hammonds, Tonya Burnham, Cem Burnham, Deniz Burnham, Christopher Burnham-Tran, Alex Garcia, Adam Garcia, Sam Hunt, Sophia Hunt and Amber Johnston; seven great-grandchildren, Lydia Hammonds, Abigale Atkins, Izzabele Atkins, Raymond Charles Arrasmith IV, Brittany Arrasmith and Audrey Rose Crawford.
She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home with High Priest Marcia Howard and Evangelist Gary Howard officiating.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
