On Valentine's Day 2017, an escort of angels ushered the soul of Ellis Edward Burnham Jr. into the kingdom of life eternal.
"Eddie" was born on February 28, 1957 in Fairbanks, Alaska, the only son of Ellis Sr. and Mildred Burnham, who preceded him in death. He was a father to three children: Tonya, Cem, and Deniz. He had one granddaughter, Audrey, and one grandson, Dominic. He was a brother to six sisters: Paula, Cindy, Jane, Joan, Joyce and Lisa.
Ed honorably served his country in the Air Force and served his fellow neighbors as a police officer in several communities. Ed attended the W. Jackson St. Community of Christ church in Pensacola.
In his Father's house, Eddie, now lives in perfect health, at peace in a room prepared especially for him.
Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Elder Glenda Ingraham will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
